What I Wore

I am definitely welcoming fall into an open embrace, it's so beautiful in Northern Kansas in the fall! Absolutely breath-taking! Since it's taco Wednesday at Tubbys ( a fun bar in Aggieville) with Gavin and the crew, I decided to pull together a fall-esque outfit.

Jeans: Underground, thrifted
Tank: Target, $8
Belt: vintage
Ring: thrifted
Earrings: target, $7
Purse: thrifted, $3

That looks like a fun ring but one on which I would be sure to injure myself or someone else! I was thinking about you the other day when I was at the DAV with Josh and Na. They were begging me to go and Na was horrified by some of the things I put in the cart to try on. I thought, "I need Stacy to help me!" You can make things work! I got two cute fall blazers, a very nice OD green Converse jacket (which Na says she wants to steal), an updated version of the twin set sweater, and a long jersey skirt in aubergine. I wore the skirt on Monday with a slim black sweater (I bought years ago at Goodwill and never had anything to wear with it), black flats, and a scarf I bought last year at Target to wear with a blazer from Savage Threads. I got lots of compliments on the outfit. Now I just need things to complete my other outfit starts. Mostly I need shoes: dark brown flats or loafers and dark brown boots and black boots. I thought about blogging about my finds if I find time and a willing photographer.

I love the description of your outfit! Long skirts are definitely in this season! And don't you just *love* Savage Threads?? I remember when they first came to Wichita ;) With the shoes, you can never go wrong with a pair of calve (or knee) high boots, I prefer brown because my wardrobe consist of more neutral tones. But, I still wear black paired brown sometimes(even though people tsk me).
